ACCA - The global body for professional accountants

Flexible study

Our qualifications offer you the flexibility of choosing how you wish to study, so you can study full-time, or work full-time and study around your job. The choice is yours.

Study options include:

  • full-time courses
  • part-time day or evening course
  • distance learning
  • weekend courses
  • revision courses

Please visit our tuition providers directory to find a list of providers offering ACCA tuition. This is in the related links at the land-hand side of the page.

As well as choosing how you study, you can choose how often you sit your exams.

Practical experience

If you choose to start studying either the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) Qualification within Foundations in Accountancy, or the ACCA Qualification, you will need to complete practical experience in a relevant role in the workplace. This practical experience will give you the advantage of being fully prepared for a challenging career as a professional accountant or accounting technician.

We recommend you gain the practical experience at the same time passing your exams, and you will be able to do this if you’re working in a relevant role whilst you study.

For further information on practical experience requirements, visit the Qualifications at a glance section.

You can also visit the ACCA Careers site for up to date information on job vacancies and advice on finding a job.
